The VW Spindle Nuts Locking Plate installs in between the two spindle nuts and prevents the nuts from backing off. The spindle nut locking plate is keyed to lock into the spindle and the tabs bend over the nuts to hold them in place. The lock plate fits 1962 through 1965 Type 3s.
